All PowerWAVE standby generators supplied by Kohler Uninterruptible Power have a choice of control panel options. Whether you are concerned with the simplest functions or the entire operation of the standby generator, our control panels give you the power to manage the application.


The APM802 panel is fitted as an option on PowerWAVE V and D Series standby generators. This advanced control panel provides system monitoring, and system diagnostics for optimum performance. It uses software logic to manage alternator thermal overload protection features normally requiring additional hardware.

  • Electrical data, mechanical data, and system settings can be saved to a flash drive
  • Meter displays provide a visual representation of generator electrical values including power (kW), power factor, reactive power (kVAR), frequency, voltage, and current (amps)
