Datacentres have a constant need to support growing loads and to be scalable for a new future with advancements in AI and the need for increasing power support.
With the common battery choice being between VRLA and lithium-ion, new nickel-zinc technology is proving to be an interesting advancement for high powered datacentres who require short duration runtime autonomy.
With this in mind, KUP have partnered with nickel-zinc (NiZn) battery manufacturer ZincFive to provide their batteries alongside our modular UPS range for Data Centres.
As the only UK location where ZincFive batteries can currently be shown, we are delighted to open the doors to an exclusive event for Electrical Engineers to understand the benefits of the technology when designing a UPS for data centres.
Taking place at our Headquarters in Hook, Hampshire, the free morning event will take an in-depth look at the ZincFive NiZn battery chemistry and the KOHLER MF Series, with a live demonstration to all attendees.
Attendees will leave with information on how the new NiZn battery chemistry works and how it compares to lithium-ion and VRLA batteries. Speakers include Aaron Schott, Head of Product Management at ZincFive who will be live in the UK for the event.
