PowerWAVE J Series

Series of three phase UPS generators providing power from 22 to 440 kVA. Each generator is powered by a John Deere engine for reliable backup during power failures. Bunded fuel tank minimises diesel spillage, with additional fuel tank capacity to extend run time. 15 models available for commercial and industrial use.

Description

Standby backup generators with automatic mains failure (AMF) detection and changeover facilities for long-term backup power during a mains outage.

24/7 power protection

Reliable source of power to keep critical applications available at all times. Provides practical contingency plan for mains electric failures to prevent loss of business.

Bunded fuel tanks

Bunded fuel tanks minimise diesel spillage with innovative content gauges and overfill alarms. Ensures compliance with the Environment Agency PPG02 regulations.

Bespoke acoustic packages

Minimal noise pollution with optional acoustic enclosures for further noise reduction. Bespoke options provide container design, groundworks and mechanical installation.

NEXYS control panel

Each fitted with intuitive NEXYS LCD screen. Displays voltage, frequency, coolant temperature, oil pressure and battery voltage as well as alarm and fault indication.

‘Turnkey’ solution

Optional advanced TELYS control panel offers ‘one-stop-shop’ power solution. Guarantees each diesel generator is fully matched for a ‘no break’ supply during power failures.

A single-phase installation consists of a single sine wave input and is typically a single phase of a larger three phase supply. A typical example of this would be a local three pin UK socket which uses 230/240 VAC to supply power. Most small power hardware including rack-mounted servers, telecoms, network switches, computer systems or any device running from a standard three pin UK plug, operate from a single phase supply.

    Three phase
A three-phase installation uses the full three phases which are generated from the grid. A three phase electrical supply comprises of three individual sine waves, and can be installed as either a three wire or three wire & neutral configuration. A three-phase source would typically come from a local transformer, with the standard three phase voltage being 400/415 VAC.
